Four foundations

F1How brands grow

The engine of brand growth has three levers. Knowing which to pull — and when — is where the advantage lies.

Your check: Did this chapter make sense?

F2Penetration

Easy to think of. Easy to buy. That’s the whole game — and it’s played in memory.

Ten stages

01Evidence

How do you know anyone wants this?

Your output: The Evidence Verdict

Decision gate: Does evidenced demand and surviving arithmetic justify building this brand?

02Insight

Who is this for — and what do they need resolved?

Your output: The Insight Platform

Decision gate: Is this platform strong enough to build a brand on?

03Strategy

What is a strategy — and what does yours have to cover?

Your output: The One-Page Strategy

Decision gate: Are these five decisions sharp enough to obey for twelve months?

04Brand

What is a brand — and what does yours have to be able to do?

Your output: The Brand-on-a-page

Decision gate: Would a stranger who read only your brand-on-a-page know what you are for, what world you live in and what to call you — and could you defend every word of it?

05Identity

What is an identity — and what does yours have to produce?

Your output: The Identity Sheet

Decision gate: Could a stranger, in three seconds and with the name covered, tell what category this is, roughly what it costs and — after a few exposures — whose it is?

06Connections

What is a connections plan — and what does yours have to cover?

Your output: Connections on a Page

Decision gate: Could a stranger reading only your connections page run the brand’s communication for a month without asking a question, and would every channel they used know what job it was there to do?

07Design system

What is a design system — and what does yours have to hold?

Your output: The Design System: the minimum rule set

Decision gate: Can the system run without you (could someone who has never met you apply it correctly, tonight, on a surface you have never seen)?

08Launch

What is a launch plan — and what does yours have to hold?

Your output: The Launch Runbook

Decision gate: Are you ready to launch on the named date, and what, specifically, would make you refuse to?

09Retention

What is a retention plan — and what does yours have to decide?

Your output: The Retention Plan

Decision gate: Has every engineered reason a happy buyer fails to come back been removed — and tested with a real dry run — before the first buyer arrives?

10Performance cycle

A rhythm, not a verdict.

Your output: The Performance Cycle

Decision gate: The gate checks that the review cycle is ready and that any review already held has a dated record a sceptic could read.

Questions?

Is my business a fit?

The method covers physical products, digital products or subscriptions, consumer services, and venues or experiences. It is built for people developing a brand and willing to make decisions from evidence. Regulated claims, legal advice, clinical decisions and other specialist questions still need the right professional. A country-specific requirement should be checked before purchase.

What if I have already started building the brand?

Most people have. Bring what you have into Stage 01, label which parts are evidenced and which are assumed, and the gate will tell you where to rejoin.

Work you have already done well does not need redoing. Work that rests on an untested assumption is exactly what this is for.

Can I not just do this myself with ChatGPT?

You can, and you should — the Playbook for AI Brand Building runs on your own AI assistant, so you will be doing exactly that. What it adds is the sequence: which questions to ask, in what order, what evidence an answer needs before you build on it, and a gate at the end of each stage.

Do I need to know how to use AI?

You should be comfortable working in an AI assistant and reviewing what it produces. The briefs give it a role, objective, sources, output and quality bar. You supply your business context, check sources and make decisions. It is not an autonomous service that launches a business for you.

Does the price include AI tools or an agency?

No. You use your own AI workspace and pay separately for any tool, research or specialist service you choose. The Playbook for AI Brand Building structures the work and helps you assess it; it does not include agency delivery.

How long does it take?

Typically 12 weeks: up to two weeks for set-up and foundations, then about a stage a week. It can take anything from 4 to 20 weeks depending on the time you put in.

What is the difference between Full and Core?

Full Build takes every stage through its complete set of passes. Core Build reaches the same ten outcomes with fewer passes at each stage. Both retain the stage sequence and founder decisions. Choose the build depth in your workspace.

What makes it personalised?

The work changes with the venture shape, route to market and build depth. A physical product sold through retail has different evidence sources and cost lines from a service sold through bookings. Your free trial lets you set up the work around your own venture. There are 1,650 possible configurations.

Is this an AI-generated document?

No. The Playbook for AI Brand Building is a structured methodology with authored teaching, working prompts and decision gates. Your AI assistant uses those prompts to do the work for your business, and the outputs still need your evidence and review.

Is there any one-to-one support?

No, and that is deliberate. The Playbook for AI Brand Building is built to be worked through on your own schedule, without waiting on anyone. Every instruction a coach would give you is written into the stage.

If you want someone in the room making the calls with you, that is a consulting engagement and it is a different product at a different price.

How does Playbook pricing work?

The Playbook has a public price. We may also run limited, clearly labelled offers to understand demand. An advertised offer applies only to the people and dates stated in that offer; it includes the same complete Playbook.

If you arrive through an offer, its price and expiry will be shown before you pay. We honour that quoted price until its expiry. Your statutory rights and our 14-day refund guarantee are unchanged.

£395, all in.

What does waiting actually cost me?

The launch is still happening. The decision you are deferring is not whether to do this work — it is whether to do it before or after you have committed the money.

Three months from now the name is on the packaging, the stock is ordered and the site is live. Changing the positioning then means changing all three. The evidence that would have told you costs the same either way; it just stops being useful once it can no longer change anything.

When will I receive it, and what are the terms?

The complete Playbook is open in your workspace. £395, all in.

14-day money-back guarantee. If the Playbook isn't for you, email hello@destreza.ai within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full. No reason needed. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.

Can I use it on my phone?

Use a laptop or desktop for core development work, full functionality and agentic AI. Read and review on your phone, then return to your workspace when you are ready to do the work.

Try it on your idea.

  1. Destreza calculation from 2025 national registration and business-formation data across 19 economies, with partial US coverage (Florida and Delaware); the selected counts total approximately 40.28 million and the headline is rounded down. Includes companies, sole traders and other registered business forms; national definitions vary and the series are not harmonised. Some registrations represent existing activity becoming formal, new legal vehicles or business names, and a registered entity may never begin trading — this is an indicator of annual formation activity, not a deduplicated count of newly trading ventures or brands, and a separate population from the product-failure studies at reference 2. 4. Up to 4×. Run the usual way, 24% of new launches succeed — the inverse of the 76% failure measure in reference 2. At the best-run product businesses, which work to a formal staged process, 94% do (reference 7). 94 ÷ 24 = 3.9, rounded. The Playbook is that kind of structured process, built for a founder rather than a division; it improves the odds, it does not guarantee the outcome.
  5. Up to 2×. In a University of Oregon analysis of 2,877 business owners, 36% of those who had completed a business plan had secured a loan and 36% investment, against 18% and 18% of those who had not: Ding, E. and Hursey, T., Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Business Planning Using Palo Alto’s Business Plan Pro (Department of Economics, University of Oregon, 2010), reported by Small Business Trends; respondents were users of the sponsor’s software. The government-backed Start Up Loans scheme requires a business plan and cash-flow forecast to assess “the strength and viability of your business”: British Business Bank, Start Up Loans: how to apply (2026). Market potential is the first thing business angels and venture capital funds weigh in a plan: Mason, C. and Stark, M., ‘What do Investors Look for in a Business Plan?’, International Small Business Journal, 22/3 (2004). Your Launch Book is that plan, with the evidence attached.
  6. £395, all in. Senior brand marketing consultants charge up to £2,500 a day, and a full-service agency brand engagement runs to six or seven figures. Every stage of the Playbook gates the next spend behind evidence, so the expensive mistakes — stock, tooling, a launch — are caught before they are paid for.
